Vice President Engineering and Manufacturing In 2005, Mr. Wells became the first employee of ThruBit LLC. In his role as VP of Engineering and Manufacturing he put in place the development team that created the SureLogTM suite of logging tools and the proprietary bit latch mechanism. Prior to joining ThruBit Mr. Wells was a Director of a privately held oil and gas data services company and has held various positions with Schlumberger Limited including Engineering Manager in the Downhole Tool Development Center, Operations Manager and Field Engineer. Mr. Wells holds a Master of Arts in Engineering Science from Merton College, the University of Oxford in England and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University Scotland. He is married with three children. |
