Designed to work with our patented Portal™ Bits, ThruBit’s® unique deployment system is at the heart of our ability to deliver high-quality logging data in any application on the first try, virtually every time. We deploy small-diameter logging tools within the protection of the drillstring using the following components: ThruBit® Running Tool ThruBit’s running hardware deploys powerful, compact logging tools downhole. During memory operation, the ThruBit® logging tools are suspended from the Portal™ Bit using the ThruBit® Hang-off Device to enable disconnection of the wireline. ThruBit® Latch Mechanism Activated by a specifically designed running tool that attaches to the internal latch, The ThruBit® Latch Mechanism allows a clean release from the Portal™ Bit.
